About the Conference
The Australian Walking and Cycling Conference is of national significance as the only forum to have the core aims of advancing and promoting the development of innovative and practical research into walking and cycling.
It is also Australia’s most affordable and inclusive conference in the field, attracting professionals from academia, government, private industry, community groups and individual interest, from fields including transport planning, engineering, health policy, geography, urban planning, sociology and environmental and spatial sciences.
The Conference strongly contributes to an energetic and positive network of professionals dealing with local, national and international issues. The 2026 Conference theme is Pathways of Least Resistance.

Sponsorship Packages
In 2026 the Australian Walking and Cycling Conference is offering three tiers of sponsorship which provide excellent value and exposure opportunity. AWCC 2026 expects 200 delegates drawn from government, academia, private industry and community organisations across Australia. By sponsoring the Conference, your organisation will receive:
GOLD – sponsorship fee: $3000
● Two complimentary two-day registrations (valued at $1060);
● Opportunity for a delegate from the sponsor’s organisation to give a five minute address to
the Conference attendees on the day of your choice;
● Logo recognition at the commencement and conclusion of both days;
● Recognition as a sponsor by the Conference emcee during opening and closing remarks;
● Logo placement on the AWCC website, conference materials and social media.
SILVER – sponsorship fee: $2000
● One complimentary two-day registration (valued at $530);
● Logo recognition at the commencement and conclusion of both days;
● Recognition as a sponsor by the Conference emcee during opening and closing remarks; and
● Logo placement on the AWCC website, conference materials and social media.
BRONZE – sponsorship fee: $1000
● One complimentary one-day registration (valued at $300);
● Logo recognition at the commencement and conclusion of both days; and
● Logo placement on the AWCC website, conference materials and social media.
